While listening to the segment about the Guitarist Behind ‘Canon’ Video Revealed on All Things Considered yesterday, a heard a bit from a less noted guitarist who, like the guitarist featured in the story, has a clip on the increasingly popular YouTube.
While the young Jeong-Hyun Lim’s rendition of Johann Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major is without a doubt an excellent performance, the “Spool Slide Guitar” performance by South African musician Hannes Coetzee just blew me away.
